၂၀၁၅ အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲတွင် ပြည်ထောင်စုလွှတ်တော်နှင့် တိုင်းဒေသကြီး/ ပြည်နယ်လွှတ်တော်တို့တွင် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း စုစုပေါင်း ၅၈၇၈ ဦး ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့ရာ လွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားလှယ် ၁၁၂၁ ဦးကို ရွေးချယ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် တိုင်းရင်းသားရေးရာဝန်ကြီးနေရာ၂၉ အတွက် ၁၆၁ ဦးဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့သဖြင့် စုစုပေါင်း ၆၀၃၉ ဦး ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ပြီး ၁၁၅၀ ဦးမှာ ရွေးချယ်ခြင်းခံခဲ့ကြသည်။ ယခုဖော်ပြပါ ဒေတာအချက်အလက်များသည် ပြည်ထောင်စုရွေး ကောက်ပွဲကော်မရှင် မှ ထုတ်ပြန်သော ကြေညာချက်များ နှင့် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲရလဒ်များမှ ရရှိခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။
အမျိုးသားလွှတ်တော်(အထက်လွှတ်တော်)ရှိ မဲဆန္ဒနယ်ပေါင်း (၁၆၈) ခုအတွက် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း (၈၈၆) ဦးဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့ကြသည်။ တပ်မတော်သား ကိုယ်စားလှယ် (၅၆) ဦးကိုလည်း အမျိုးသားလွှတ်တော်၏ (၂၅) ရာခိုင်းနှုန်း အဖြစ်အချိုးကျ ခန့်အပ်ထားပါသည်။
ပြည်သူ့လွှတ်တော်ရှိ မဲဆန္ဒနယ်ပေါင်း (၃၂၃) ခုအတွက် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း (၁၇၃၄)ဦး ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့ကြသည်။ (၂၅) ရာခိုင်းနှုန်းသော တပ်မတော်သားလွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များအတွက် တပ်မတော်ကာကွယ်ရေးဦးစီးချုပ်မှ ကိုယ်စားလှယ် (၁၁၀)ဦး ရွေးချယ်တင်မြှောက်ပေးသည်။
တိုင်းဒေသကြီးနှင့် ပြည်နယ်လွှတ်တော်ရှိ မဲဆန္ဒနယ်ပေါင်း (၆၃၀) ခုအတွက် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း (၃၂၅၈) ဦး ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့ကြသည်။ ထို့အပြင် တပ်မတော်ကာကွယ်ရေးဦးစီးချုပ်မှ ပြည်နယ်/တိုင်းဒေသကြီး၏လွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားလှယ် စုစုပေါင်း ၃ပုံ၁ပုံအတွက် တပ်မတော်သား ၂၂ဝဦးအား ရွေးချယ်တင်မြှောက်ပေးသည်။
တိုင်းရင်းသားရေးရာ ဝန်ကြီး (၂၉) နေရာအတွက် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း (၁၆၁) ဦး ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့ကြသည်။
In 2015 General Elections, a total of 5878 candidates were competing for 1121 seats in all 3 Hluttaws – Amyotha Hluttaw, Pyithu Hluttaw and State and Region Hluttaw. In addition, 161 candidates competed for 29 seats of Ethnic Affair Ministers. Therefore, in total 6039 competed for the total seats of 1150. These data were obtained from the announcements and election results data of UEC.
For 168 seats in Amyotha Hluttaw, 886 candidates were competing during 2015 General Elections.The Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services appointed 56 Members of Parliament from the military, which was equivalent to 25% of the seats in the upper house.
For 323 seats in Pyithu Hluttaw, 1734 candidates were competing during 2015 General Elections. 25% were representatives from military appointed by Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services (N=110).
For 630 seats in State and Region Hluttaw, 3258 candidates were competing during 2015 General Elections. In addition, the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services appointed 220 military Members of Parliament to State/Region Hluttaw in order to make up one-third of the total seats.
For 29 seats for Ethnic Affairs Ministers, 161 candidates were competing during 2015 General Elections.
