တိုင်းဒေသကြီးနှင့်ပြည်နယ် ၁၄ ခု ကို နှိုင်းယှဉ်သည့်အခါ မိမိတို့မျှော်မှန်းထားသကဲ့သို့ပင် ကချင်ပြည်နယ်နှင့် ချင်းပြည်နယ် တို့တွင် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အရေအတွက်မှာ ၃၈ ဦးနှင့် ၃၂ ဦး အသီးသီး ပါဝင်ကာ အခြားတိုင်းဒေသကြီးနှင့် ပြည်နယ်များထက် ပိုမိုများပြားသည်။ ရှမ်းပြည်နယ် သည် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်ပါဝင်မှု စုစုပေါင်း ဦးရေ ၂၁ ဦးဖြင့် တတိယ နေရာတွင် ရှိသည်။ စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်းဒေသကြီးတွင် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင် ကိုယ်စားလှယ် ၁၃ ဦး၊ ကယားပြည်နယ်တွင် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင် ၁၂ ဦး၊ ကရင်ပြည်နယ်တွင် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင် ကိုယ်စားလှယ် ၆ ဦးတို့အသီးသီးပါဝင်ကြပြီး မကွေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီး ၊ မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးနှင့် မွန်ပြည်နယ်တို့တွင် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင်ကိုယ်စားလှယ် ပါဝင်ခြင်းမရှိပါ။ ကျန်တိုင်းဒေသကြီးနှင့်ပြည်နယ်များတွင် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင် ကိုယ်စား လှယ်အရေအတွက် ပါဝင်မှု ၁ ဦး မှ ၃ ဦး နှုန်း ပါဝင်ကြသည်။
NLD ပါတီမှ လွှတ်တော် ကိုယ်စားလှယ် စုစုပေါင်း ၈၈၆ ဦးအနက် ၉ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းဖြစ်သော ၈၄ ဦး နှင့် USDP လွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားလှယ် ၁၁၇ ဦးအနက်မှ ၂၁ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းဖြစ်သော ကိုယ်စားလှယ် ၂၄ ဦးတို့သည် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင်များဖြစ်ကြသည်။ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲတွင် အနိုင်ရရှိခဲ့သည့် တစ်သီးပုဂ္ဂလကိုယ်စားလှယ် ၅ ဦး အနက် ၄၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းဖြစ်သော ၂ ဦး မှာ ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင်များဖြစ်ကြသည်။
တိုင်းဒေသကြီးနှင့်ပြည်နယ်လွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ၏ ကိုးကွယ်ရာဘာသာတို့ကို လေ့လာသုံးသပ်မှုအရ ၂၀၁၅ အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲတွင် ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း ၁၃၂ ဦး ရွေးချယ်ခံခဲ့ရသည်။
When compared the Christian MPs among 14 States and Regions, as expected, Kachin and Chin States have more Christian MPs than others (38 and 32 respectively). Shan State followed as third place for having Christian MPs with the total number of 21. Thirteen MPs were Christians in Sagaing Region, 12 MPs in Kayah State and 6 MPs in Kayin while Magway Region, Mandalay Region and Mon State did not have any Christian MPs. The rest States and Regions had Christian MPs ranged from 1 to 3.In 2015 General Elections, 22 parties won out of 90 parties participated. Total number of elected candidates varied from 1 to 886. Majority of MPs from of NLD and USDP were Buddhist. Out of 886 MPs from NLD, 84 (9%) were Christians and out of 117 MPs from USDP, 24 (21%) were Christians. Out of 5 MPs who won in the election as “Individual”, 2 (40%) were Christians.
There were 132 Christian MPs were elected from 2015 Elections.
