၂၀၁၅ ခုနှစ် နိုဝင်ဘာ ၈ရက်နေ့တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတဝန်းလုံး ၂၀၁၅ အထွေထွ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲ ကျင်းပခဲ့သည်။ သို့သော် ပြည်ထောင် စု ရွေးကောက်ပွဲကော်မရှင်မှ လွတ်လပ်၍တရား မျှတသောရွေးကောက်ပွဲကျင်းပရန် အခြေအနေမရှိသဖြင့် ကချင်ပြည်နယ်၊ ကရင်ပြည်နယ်၊ မွန်ပြည်နယ်၊ ရှမ်းပြည်နယ် နှင့် ပဲခူးတိုင်းတို့အတွင်း မြို့နယ် (၇) မြို့စီနှင့် ကျေးရွာအုပ်စုပေါင်း ( ၆၀၀) ခန့်တွင် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲ ဖျက်သိမ်းခဲ့ပါသည်။
The 2015 general elections were held on 8th November 2015 across Myanmar. However, the elections were cancelled in 7 entire townships and around 600 village tracts nationwide, namely Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Shan states and Bago regions, which were deemed unsuitable for free and fair elections by the Union Election Commission.
