In total, 34,295,334 were eligible to votes for representatives in Pyithu Hluttaw. Those who went to polling stations and casted votes were 22,473,602 and those who provided advanced votes were 1,438,182 and the combination made up 23,911,784 voters (69.72% of eligible voters).

More than 70% of eligible voters cast votes in Kayah State, Chin State, Sagaing Region, Bago Region, Magway Region, Mandalay Region and Ayeyarwaddy Region. In Kachin State, Rakhine State, Shan State, Yangon Region and Tanintharyi Region, voters’ turnout was between 60% and 70%. Voters’ turnout was lowest in Kayin State and Mon State with 47% and 51% respectively when compared to other States and Regions.

In all States and Regions except Kayin State, 5% to 10% of total voters cast votes in advance. In Kayin State, 12% cast votes in advance out of total voters.
