၂၀၁၅ အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲတွင် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲဝင် တိုင်းရင်းသားပါတီ (၅၃) ပါတီအနက် (၁၈) ပါတီ အနိုင်ရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ လွှတ်တော်သုံးရပ်သို႔ ရွေးချယ်တင်မြှောက်သော တိုင်းရင်းသားပါတီကိုယ်စားလှယ် စုစုပေါင်း (၁၄၀) ဦးအနက် အမျိုးသမီးကိုယ်စားလှယ် (၁၄) ဦးသာပါရှိသည်။ အမျိုးသမီးကိုယ်စားလှယ်ပါရှိသည့် တိုင်းရင်းသားပါတီ (၇) ခုရှိသည့်အနက် ရှမ်းတိုင်းရင်းသားများဒီမိုကရေစီအဖွဲ့ချုပ်ပါတီမှ အမျိုးသမီးကိုယ်စားလှယ် (၇) ဦးရှိကာ အများဆုံးဖြစ်သည်။ အမျိုးသမီးကိုယ်စားလှယ်မရှိသော တိုင်းရင်းသားပါတီ (၁၁) ခုရှိသည်။
In 2015 General Elections of Myanmar, 18 out of 53 competing ethnic parties won. A total of 140 candidates from ethnic parties were elected to all parliaments and only 14 were female. Out of 14 MPs from 7 ethnic parties, 7 were from Shan Nationalities League for Democracy (SNLD), making SNLD an ethnic party with the highest female participation. There are 11 ethnic parties did not have any female representative.
